Instructions: Heat oil in heavy sauce pan over medium heat. Saute onions and garlic until they are tender and fragrant. (Do not allow them to brown.) Add diced tomatoes, herbs, cinnamon and wine. Cover and adjust heat to allow mixture to simmer. Remove lid and allow sauce to reduce to proper consistency.
