Fry eggs over low heat, breaking and distributing any thick egg-white portions; this will ensure that the eggs cook evenly. Cook until the egg whites are just set and the bottoms are lightly golden, 2 to 3 minutes. If you prefer your eggs over easy, gently flip them in the pan just before serving. Serve immediately.
