Instructions: Marinate the fish in the lemon juice for 15 minutes.
Make a thick batter with all the other ingredients except the oil adding water as necessary ensuring that there are no lumps. Heat the oil in a deep kadai or wok. Dip each piece of fish in the batter and deep fry until crisp. Drain on a slotted spoon and remove onto absorbent paper. Serve hot with coriander chutney and a fresh salad.
