1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
4 oz chopped raw shrinp shelled and deveined
1/2 lb cabbage shredded (optional)
1 cup thinly sliced and chopped water chestnuts
1/2 cup bean sprouts
1/3 cup grated or finely cut carrots
1/3 cup finely chopped celery (optional)
1/4 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
3 tbl chopped green onions
2 tbl soy sauce
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 x slightly beaten eggs
20 x wonton or lumpia wrappers (20 to 30)
Instructions:
Instructions: In a big skillet, brown beef and pork. Add shrimp and vegetables. Saute for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and drain. Put themixture in a bowl and stir in soy sauce, ginger, salt, sugar and pepper. Blend in slightly beaten egg. Cool for 15 minutes. Place 1 or 2 teaspoons (depending on how big you want the roll) on each wonton or lumpia wrapper. Roll up and fold the edge, sealing with cold water. Fry in hot oil to cover until golden brown. Serve with sweet and sour sauce or garlic sauce.
