Recipe for Fried Onion with Mustard

Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
25 gm Butter, (1oz)
1 tbl Olive oil
450 gm Red onions - peeled and sliced, (1lb)
1/2 tbl Schwartz Mustard Seed
1 tsp Sugar
1 tbl Vinegar
1 tsp Schwartz Thyme
Salt
Schwartz Coarse Ground Black Pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat the oil and butter in a large frying pan and fry the onions and 1 tbs Mustard Seed for 1-2 minutes. Add the sugar, vinegar and Thyme. Fry gently, stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the salt, Pepper and lemon juice. Crush the remaining Mustard Seeds and stir in just before serving.

NOTES : To accomplany hamburgers, sausages and steaks
