Instructions: Put the flour in a large bowl.
Dilute the yeast in water and leave for a few minutes. Add this the salt and a little more water to the flour to obtain a fairly soft dough. Cover with a kitchen cloth and leave to prove for I hour by which time the dough will have doubled in size. Gently heat the tomato sauce. Meanwhile take a piece of dough about the size of an egg and roll it out on a noured work surface. Heat the oil in a pan and when it is hot add the pizza and fry on each side until golden. Place on a plate and whilst still hot pour on a little of the tomato sauce and spread evenly. Add the Parmesan and some basil leaves. These are very moreish! If you try this for a pary make sure your guests can come into the kitchcn to keep you company otherwise youll be in there alone all night. Makes 6 x 20cm pizzas Email this Recipe:
