Instructions: Soak the wild mushrooms in salt water for 1 hour to kill all bugs and mites. Rinse with cold water and drain on paper towels.
In a bowl, mix all batter ingredients together. In a separate container combine the crumb ingredients. Dip mushrooms in batter, then in crumb coating. Deep-fry and drain on paper towels. Comments: Every spring around turkey season, it is not uncommon after a good rain to find an abundance of wild morel mushrooms. They are one of the delicacies of the great outdoors.
