Instructions: In one very large bowl mix brown sugar and butter and then add eggs and vanilla and mix again. In another bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Then begin to alternately add the flour and the milk to the brown sugar mixture, continually mixing. Be sure to use a self-mixing mixer, this is a very thick dough (dont use the little hand mixers, they are not strong enough.)
After you have combined it all together then stir in the crushed walnuts. Bake for 10 minutes. Frost them with 7-minute frosting. Email this Recipe:
