6 x Mandarin Oranges stems or tangerines intact
1 x Egg White
Instructions:
Instructions: In small bowl, lightly beat egg white. Roll oranges in egg white to coat them on all sides. Over sheet of waxed paper. Sprinkle with sugar to form "frost". Cover carefully with plastic wrap and store in refrig. To eat, peel and discard skin and section orange. May be made up to 3 days ahead.

NOTES :
On first reading, I was shocked to see a recipe that called for raw egg whites. Then I realized it is only for a decorative look on the outside of the fruit.

Id still probably use Egg Beaters to completely eliminate the possibility of contaminating the fruit.

You could use this technique on any fruit (that will be peeled) to create a pretty presentation.
