Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9- by 13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, with an electric beater on medium speed, beat the flour, brown sugar, butter, fruit cocktail, eggs, baking soda, and salt for 2 minutes, or until smooth. Pour into the baking pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and pecans evenly over the top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
