Instructions: Add sugar to eggs. Beat thoroughly. Add shortening and sour milk.

Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking soda, spices, baking powder, and raisins. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well-oiled baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 F) 12-15 minutes.
