Ingredients:

33/100 cup water
1 cup honey
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 stk margarine
1 x ******dough******
3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
33/100 cup shortening
1 cup milk
1 x ******fruit******
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat the syrup in a 2 quart sauce pan over medium-low heat until the mixture begins to bubble.

Mix the dry ingredients well before cutting in the shortening. Mix that part then add the milk. Roll dough on a floured counter top until its approximately a 9 x 13 rectangle.

Sprinkle black raspberries onto dough and spread out to about 1 1/2 inches from edge of dough. Roll up like a jelly roll, and cut into 1-inch pieces. Lay them in a 9 x 13 pan as close together as you can get them. Sprinkle the remaining fruit over the top of the dumplings then top with syrup. Bake in a 375F. oven for 35-40 minutes.

Other fruit may be substituted for the black raspberries. With apples, chop them and drizzle some honey over apples before rolling up and cutting.
