Instructions: In a small bowl stir together cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, kiwifruit, pineapple tidbits and chives. To serve, place lettuce leaves in pita halves. Spoon the fruit and cheese mixture into pitas.
Makes 2 servings. 1/2 cup strawberries may be substituted for the kiwi fruit and green onion may be substituted for the chives. NOTES : This refreshing pita sandwich doubles easily to serve four hungry lunch eaters. Great on a HOT day. Email this Recipe:
