1 lb flank steak - (to 1 1/2 lbs)
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
1 can fruit cocktail - (30 oz)
1 tbl salad oil
1 tbl lemon juice
1/4 cup bottled teriyaki sauce
1 tsp vinegar
Instructions:
Instructions: Sprinkle flank steak with salt and pepper; place in slow-cooking pot. Drain fruit cocktail, saving 1/4 cup syrup. Combine 1/4 cup syrup with remaining ingredients; pour over steak in pot.

Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours or until meat is tender. Add drained fruit during the last few minutes.

Lift steak out of pot; place it on a platter. With sharp knife, cut thin slices of meat across the grain. Serve hot.

This recipe yields 4 to 5 servings.
