4 x Brioche buns, (very fresh)
4 scoop ice cream, such as lemon curd (* see recipe), pistachio or strawberry
----------------- FOR THE FRUIT COMPOTE ----------------
350 gm Strawberries
3 tbl Caster sugar
2 tbl Grand Marnier, (or any favourite liqueur)
50 gm Shelled pistachio nuts, chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: 1 For the Compote: Roughly chop the strawberries and sprinkle over the sugar and Grand Marnier. Set aside for a few minutes to marinate. Cut the tops of the brioche, hollow them out and spoon in a scoop of the ice cream.

2 Sprinkle the black pepper generously over the strawberries and spoon the strawberries over the ice cream with the juices. Sprinkle over the pistachios and serve at once.
