Instructions: Cook the onion and the garlic in 1/2 cup of the bouillon for 5- 10 minutes, or until softened. Stir in the remaining bouillon, spices, and lentils, bring to a boil and simmer 45 minutes or until the lentils are tender. Stir in the dried fruits and simmer 5 minutes; add the couscous and simmer 2 minutes more. Let sit, covered, 5 minutes; fluff with a fork and serve.
