Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
10 x Garlic toes
1/2 cup Syrup, maple
1 cup Butter, softened
3/4 cup Sugar, brown
3/4 cup Sugar
2 x Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Chocolate chips
1/2 cup Nuts, chopped (your choice)
1/2 cup Flour
Instructions:
Instructions: Drop toes in boiling water and cook for 5 min. max. Peel and chop garlic and soak in maple syrup for 20 min. Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine floour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mix. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Drain garlic and add to batter-blend well. Drop batter by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart and bake for 8-10 min. till lightly browned.

Dicks notes: Cut out 1/2 cup chocolate at least. Use 5 more toes of garlic-dont over cook. Baker, 11/96
