1 lb Dried apricots
4 cup Water
2 x Onions minced
3 lb Center-cut chuck
2 tbl Fat
1/2 tsp Salt
1 x Bay leaf
1 tbl Lemon juice
2 tbl Brown sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Wash the apricots and soak in the water for 1 hour.

Brown the onions and meat in the fat. Add the salt, bay leaf, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and undrained apricots. Cover and cook over low heat 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Remove bay leaf.

Serves 6 to 8.
