Instructions: In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, butter, corn syrup, milk and vanilla, and cook over medium heat until bubbling. Add coconut and nuts,
cool slightly and spread evenly over cake.

Makes enough to ice a 15x12x2-inch cake.
