Ingredients:

6 cup Peeled cored and sliced apples
1 pkt German chocolate cake mix
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 cup Butter, softened
3 x Eggs
1/2 cup Nuts, pecan or walnut
----------------- FROSTING ----------------
1 pkt (3 oz) of cream cheese
4 tbl Butter softened
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350*. Grease lightly a 13x9 pan. Layer 1/2 apples evenly in pan. In large bowl, mix dry cake mix, cinnamon, water, butter, and eggs on low until smooth. Then beat 2 min. on high. Stir in nuts. Pour 1/2 batter evenly over apples and repeat layers. Bake at 350* for 40-50 min. or until tooghpick comes out clean. Cool in pan. For frosting: In small bowl blend frostind ingredients until smooth. Frost top of cake and enjoy! Serves 12.
