Instructions: Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat.
Peel broccoli stems. Cut stems lengthwise into long, thin strips so each has a floweret or two at top. Drop into boiling water. Cook 3 minutes or until just tender. Drain. Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 1minutes or until lightly golden. Add broccoli; toss until coated and heated through. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve.
