Instructions: Grease baking trays, cream butter until soft, then add sugar gradually and beat until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Stir in sifted flour, finely chopped glace ginger and half the cornflakes.
Drop a teaspoon at a time into extra cornflakes and toss lightly. Place on prepared trays and decorate with half a glace cherry. Bake in a moderate oven (350F) for 10-15 minutes. Makes about 36. Serve with afternoon tea. Email this Recipe:
