4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbl baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
4 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup butter or margarine melted
1 cup sorghum
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 tbl hot water
2 lrg eggs lightly beaten
1 tbl water - (to 2)
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; add butter and next 4 ingredients, stirring until blended.

Shape dough into 36 (2 1/2-inch) balls. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets; flatten each to 1/4-inch thickness. Brush tops with 1 to 2 tablespoons water, and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

This recipe yields 3 dozen.
