Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
4 x Fish steaks, (halibut, shark or
(4 to 5) swordfish)
1/3 cup Soy sauce
The juice of 2-3 lemons
1/4 cup Vegetable oil
1/4 tsp Salt
2 tbl Sugar
1 tsp Fresh grated ginger, (or 1 teaspoon ground)
Instructions:
Instructions: Blend thoroughly all ingredients, except the fish, in a mixing bowl or baking pan. Add seafood steaks (or shrimp or scallops) and marinate 30 minutes in the refrigerator, or overnight. For the outdoor grill, use remaining marinade as a baste. To bake in the oven, place in a baking pan with all the marinade, and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until steaks flake easily with a fork.

NOTES : This exciting marinade combines the fragrant and pungent flavors of fresh grated ginger and crushed cloves of garlic for marinating fresh seafood for baking, broiling or charcoal grilling.
