Instructions: In a 3 1/2 or 4 quart crockery cooker, combine desired fruit, apricot nectar or orange juice, brown sugar, tapioca, orange peel and ginger root. Cover; cook on low heat setting for 4-5 hours or on high heat setting for 2-3 hours.
Add cherries; let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. If desired, serve over ice cream and sprinkle with slivered almonds. Email this Recipe:
