Instructions: Remove fish heads and clean. Cut ginger into matchstick-size pieces.
Preheat high-speed gas oven to about 450 degrees. Put sardines, ginger and simmering liquid ingredients in oven ware, place parchment paper drop lid directly on ingredients and cover with another tight-fitting lid. Cook in gas oven about 15 minutes; leave in oven for another 15 minutes. Alternatively, fish can be simmered on stove. This recipe yields 4 servings. Email this Recipe:
