1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
1 tbl baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbl brown sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped dates -- chopped
1/4 cup 100% Bran. cereal
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup molasses
1 x egg
3 tbl vegetable oil
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 F.

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, brown sugar, spices, raisins, and dates in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.

Measure bran cereal into a large measuring cup and combine with milk. Let stand for 2 minutes.

In another measuring cup, mix molasses, egg, and oil together until blended. Combine with cereal and milk mixture. Pour the wet ingredients into the large mixing bowl with the dry ingredients and stir only until all is combined and moistened.

Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray or line with baking cups. Portion the batter evenly into cups. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until tests done.
