Instructions: 1. Soak chestnuts overnight in water to cover. Drain, shell and dry.
2. Combine sugar and honey and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture dissolves and is syrup-like. 3. Add chestnuts and cook, covered, over very low heat until tender (about 2 hours), stirring frequently. 4. Separate chestnuts.
