Instructions: Globe artichokes are becoming very popular nowadays. The impression that I get from talking to friends is that they think of them in terms of plain boiled artichokes served with lots of butter sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Yes lovely! But thats just the tip of the iceberg. They can be eaten raw in salads scattered into pasta dishes at the last minute deepfried baked braised and grilled.
