Instructions: Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Mix butter and wine together. Generously coat hens with wine mixture. Place on roasting racks, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in roasting pan with 1 1/4 Cups water.
Roast for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 375 degrees F and roast 30 minutes longer until juices run clear or to 180 degrees F. Meanwhile, combine glaze ingredients and heat till jelly melts. Divide glaze into 2 bowls. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush hens with 1/2 of glaze. Brush with remaining bowl of glaze again after cooking. Email this Recipe:
