Instructions: Combine cheese and butter in a saucepan over low heat; stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.

Add potatoes, mixing gently. Pour into a buttered 2 quart casserole; dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
