Instructions: Combine all ingredients in large pot
Bring to a slow boil on med. heat; reduce to simmer Simmer 5-6 hours with pot covered Remove lid and cook another 3-5 hours until liquid barely covers mushrooms. Allow to cool. For appetizer serve warm in a chafing dish/crock pot with toothpicks and/or crusty bread. Make these a day before you want to serve them. This dish doesnt take much work, but the cooking time is long. Serving Size: 12 as an appetizer or side dish - I think it would taste good as a main dish over rice, also. Email this Recipe:
