Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
4 lb Mushrooms (any type or combination - button hold up well)
1 lb Butter (unsalted best)
1 x big Bottle burgundy wine
1/2 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Ground pepper
2 sm clv garlic -- minced
2 cup -Water -- boiling
3 x Beef bouillon cubes (low sodium is best)
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine all ingredients in large pot

Bring to a slow boil on med. heat; reduce to simmer Simmer 5-6 hours with pot covered
Remove lid and cook another 3-5 hours until liquid barely covers mushrooms.

Allow to cool.

For appetizer serve warm in a chafing dish/crock pot with toothpicks and/or crusty bread.

Make these a day before you want to serve them.

This dish doesnt take much work, but the cooking time is long.

Serving Size: 12 as an appetizer or side dish - I think it would taste good as a main dish over rice, also.
