Instructions: Thinly slice 5 of the apples; puree in a blender or food processor. In a glass or ceramic bowl, combine puree with the lemon or lime juice. Add sugar and wine, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour mixture into electric ice cream maker. Process until firm, following manufacturers instructions. Serve or freeze for later use.
