Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1/2 lb green tomatoes coarsely chopped
1/2 lb tomatillos husked, and
coarsely chopped
2 x garlic cloves pressed
1/2 cup sugar - (to 1)
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup coarsely-chopped sweet onion
1 tbl dry mustard
1/2 tsp dried crushed red pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Cook all ingredients in a large stockpot over medium-low heat 2 hours or until tomatoes and tomatillos are tender. Cool.

Process green tomato mixture, in batches, in a food processor or blender until smooth.

Sauce may be stored in refrigerator up to 1 week.

This recipe yields 3 cups.

Comments: Serve over grilled chicken, fish, or shrimp.

Yield: 3 cups
