Instructions: Trim fresh green beans, cut into diagonal 1-inch slices. Put into saucepan with 1/2 inch boiling water. Cover and cook 15 minutes or until tender. If using frozen beans, follow package directions. Drain well.
Meanwhile, in skillet, melt butter. Add onion, celery and garlic. Cook 5 minutes. Add parsley, spices and salt. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Transfer drained beans to serving platter. Fold in onion mixture, tossing to blend. Top with the bread cubes and serve immediately. Caesar Bread Cubes: Heat oil in skillet. Add garlic and bread cubes, saute until bread is lightly browned. Remove onto paper towels. Sprinkle immediately with cheese. Serves 4. Email this Recipe:
