Instructions: Steam the green beans with Mrs. Dash until tender but firm (7 minutes). Meanwhile, toast the pine nuts in a small saucepan with a nonstick surface set over medium-low heat. Add the pesto and the beans, drained, PLUS 1 to 2 teaspoon of the beans broth. Serve hot, sprinkled with black pepper.
NOTES : Basil or a combination of herbs in a fresh pesto has an affinity for beans thats delightful. The added pine nuts make it hard to forget. Try a pesto sauce made from basil, cilantro, walnuts, oil, orange juice, and romano. Email this Recipe:
