Instructions: Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt, sift again.

Combine milk and egg and add to flour. Stir only until smooth. Add butter.

Bake on hot, well-greased griddle.

Serve hot with Log Cabin Syrup.

Makes 12 cakes.
