Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
2 lb ham steak 1/2" to 3/4" thick
12 oz ginger ale
2 tbl honey
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 tbl chopped fresh mint
1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
Instructions:
Instructions: Rinse the ham steak in cold water. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Grill the ham steak on one side at a medium heat and turn it after 4 to 5 minutes (it will turn light brown). Baste with half the sauce.

Move the ham to a cooler edge of the grill and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, basting occasionally. Serve the remaining sauce on the side.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Comments: Grilled ham steak is the perfect choice for a very simple and quick meal. The ham steak is rinsed first to wash off any excess salt. Adding ginger ale to the sauce gives it an elusive tang.
