Instructions: Grill the tomatoes, scallions, green bell pepper and jalepeno peppers at a medium high heat for 3 to 4 minutes and remove from the grill.
Remove the seeds from the peppers and chop the vegetables. In a medium bowl combine the vegetables with the garlic, lime juice and zest, cilantro, salt, pepper, and Tabasco. Stir well and set aside for 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld. This recipe yields 2 cups. Comments: Grilling the vegetables first gives this salsa a unique smoky flavor.
