Instructions: Brush steak with oil. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon rub on each side of steak.
Heat grill to high. Immediately place steak on grill. Close cover and grill 7 to 10 minutes per side for medium rare, or desired degree of doneness. Use an instant read meat thermometer to test, if you are unsure. It should read 130F. for medium rare. Combine onion, garlic and parsley. Place steak on carving board and rest for 5 minutes. Carve steak against the grain into thin slices. Fn out on serving platter and sprinkle sparingly with onion mixture and salt. All-Purpose BBQ Rub: In a bowl mix well all of the ingredients. Store in an airtight jar away from heat and light; it will keep for at least 6 months. Makes 1 cup (Serve with grilled new potatoes, green beans and a tomato salad) Email this Recipe:
