Instructions: Bring water and salt to boil in 1 1/2 quart sauce pan. Add green beans and boil for 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly softened. Drain beans. Add ice to second quart of water, then add beans. Immediately prior to serving, grill beans (Wooldridge uses an indoor grill) until heated through and marked by the grill.
