Instructions: Tear off a sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil long enough to wrap bread; set aside.
Cut off top 1/3 of bread; remove excess bread from top and bottom to form a 1-inch shell. Brush inside of bread with 1/4 cup Italian dressing. Layer half of cheese slices in bottom of bread; top with even layers of tomato, zucchini, mushrooms, onion, green pepper and remaining cheese slices. Sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons Italian dressing. Place top on bread. Wrap bread in sheet of foil. Heat in a covered grill over medium heat, turning several times, until cheese is melted and sandwich is heated through, 20 to 25 minutes. This recipe yields 6 servings. Email this Recipe:
