Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 x k (approx 2lbs) round steak
3 tsp unsalted butter
4 med onions, sliced into thin rings
1 x green capsicum (bell pepper), cut into thin rings
1 tsp all purpose flour
1 tsp paprika (I use the hot one)
1 x 425g (approx 14oz) can of tomato pieces
and their juice
1 cup beef stock
1 tsp tomato paste
1/4 x to 1/2 cup sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Cut meat into strips. Heat butter, then add meat, cooking until brown. Remove from pan and put to one side. Add onions and capsicum to pan and cook until onions brown on edges. Sprinkle flour and paprika over veggies and cook for one minute. Add tomatoes, beef stock, and tomato paste. Stir well and bring to the boil. Return meat to pan, season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer with lid on for 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours (OR pour into a casserole dish and put into oven at 180C for 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours.) Stir in sour cream just prior to serving. Garnish with parsley. Serve with boiled potatoes, or rice, or pasta, and whole green beans.

Serves 4.

Note: I dont include the sour cream because my kids dont like it.

It still tastes great.
