1 x recipe Chowder Base (see recipe)
1 can diced tomatoes in juice - (15 oz)
1 can reduced-sodium chicken broth - (14 1/2 oz) defatted
2 cup diced lean ham
1 cup frozen green peas
Instructions:
Instructions: Prepare or reheat chowder base.

Stir in tomatoes (with juice), broth, ham, peas, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 15 minutes.

This recipe yields 10 1/2 cups.

Comments: Buy a thick slice of ham at the deli counter and trim off any fat before dicing it.

Yield: 10 1/2 cups
