Instructions: Set the oven at Gas Mark 5 375 degrees F 190 degrees C.
Put the haddock in a shallow oven proof dish. Pour over the milk cover and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the fish from the milk. Dis card the skin and bones flake the flesh into large pieces and keep warm. Fry the gammon bacon or ham in the butter for 2 to 3 minutes then put into a heatproof dish and cover with the haddock pieces. Season with plenty of black pepper. Pour over the single cream and place the dish under a hot grill for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve at once with plenty of crusty bread. Serves 3 Email this Recipe:
