Instructions: Some years ago we went camping in the mountains of North Georgia when I came down with something, flu, cold, whatever, that put me in the bed, uh Tent. The next day I went to a little near by town and got several kinds of brand name meds. I know when you treat yourself you have a fool for a patient, any way, the nearest doctor was about fifty miles away so I figured I would try the commercial stuff first. About all the benefit I got was a sweet taste from the candy coating on the pills. I went back the next day in search of something stronger. As I turned with a sack full and a wallet empty an older gentleman behind me said, "Got a cold son." No Im going sun bathing, leave me along old man I thought. My reply was; "Yes a bad one that hangs on." He said, "Got a pen, write this down and try it before you open any of that high dollar stuff. If you try it tonight and you still have a cold tomorrow come by my house and I will pay for your drugs." And he handed me his card. I thought like before, just leave me to my problem old man but I didnt want to be rude so I took his card.

Chemical professor at Georgia Tech it said, well you sure couldnt tell it to look at him. What he told me follows, I take this any time I get or feel a cold coming on and it works without fail. I have never met but one person who had to try it more than three days in a row to sent a cold or flu packing. If it has a name I dont know it but here goes.

To a ten ounce or so glass add eight ounces of strong lemon-aid made with real sugar not artificial sweetener. Heat as you would a cup of coffee. Add one ounce of pure honey and one ounce of any good quality bourbon, only bourbon other alcohols will not work. Drink down as quickly as you can and go to bed. The next day your cold is gone or almost so, at least you will feel better. The heat will get rid of most of the alcohol but leaves the enzymes. These enzymes work with the alkali in the sugar and honey, somehow there is a chemical difference that blends these two and the acid in the lemon-aid to do their job, according to him. All I know is it works.
