This recipe culls its great taste from a host of prepared foods. Fresh ginger packs easily and is ideal for sparking up simple foods. The seasoning mix that comes with the noodles is often made with salt and meat stock so I chose to omit it from the recipe and season the stew instead with a splash of tamari and fresh ginger. Combine water, tamari or soy sauce, soup mix and tofu in saucepan. Bring to a boil; add noodles. Reduce heat, cover and cook until noodles are al dente, about 7 minutes. Add pea pods and gingerroot; cook 1 minute. Makes 4 servings. Email this Recipe:
