1/4 lb ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion, OR
4 tsp instant minced onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
8 oz canned tomato sauce
8 oz canned cut green beans, drained
1/4 tsp cumin seed, optional
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp salt, (1/4 to 1/2)
1 can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls, (8 ounce)
1 x egg, slightly beaten
2 cup Monterey Jack or, Cheddar cheese,
shredded
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In large frying pan, brown ground beef, onion and green pepper; drain fat.

Stir in tomato sauce, beans, cumin seed, garlic salt and salt; simmer while preparing crust.

Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Place triangles in an ungreased 9-inch pie pan. Press over bottom and up the sides to form crust. Combine egg and one cup cheese; spread over crust. Spoon hot mixture into crust.

Sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. For easier serving, let stand for five minutes before cutting into wedges.

Refrigerate any leftovers.

Makes: 6 servings.
