Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
2 x Oranges, peeled and sliced
1 x Grapefruit, peeled and divided into segments
1 lrg Pear, peeled, cored and sliced
250 gm Seedless grapes or 250g, (8oz) strawberries, if available (8oz)
300 ml Fresh orange juice, (1/2 pint)
1 tbl Chopped thyme
1 tbl Chopped lemon balm
1 tsp Chopped mint
----------------- TO DECORATE ----------------
Fresh mint leaves
Instructions:
Instructions: 1. Mix all the fruit together and pour the juice over it.

2. Stir in the chopped herbs and chill for several hours before serving.

3. Serve each helping with a scoop of mint sorbet in the middle, and some cream if you like, and decorate the dessert with a few mint leaves.

NOTES : It seldom occurs to people to mix herbs with fruit salad, but they improve it enormously; even the smallest touch can make a transformation.

This fruit salad is served with a mint sorbet that tastes refreshingly clean on the palate.
