Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees . Combine turkey, ham, shallot, salt, pepper, eggs, rice nutmeg, parsley, basil, and half-and-half in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.
2. Rub a shallow baking dish with butter. Rub the dish with the bruised garlic. Form the turkey mixture into a loaf in the dish and lightly rub the loaf with garlic. Mix the 2 tablespoons butter with the bread crumbs in a small bowl until smooth. Add the hot pepper sauce and spread the crumbs carefully over the loaf, making sure none fall into the dish. Bake 1-1/2 hours. 3. Remove the drippings (there will be only a small amount) from the dish and transfer to a bowl. Cover the loaf loosely with foil; let stand 10 minutes. Meanwhile, stir the sour cream into the drippings and season with salt and pepper. Email this Recipe:
